  Rented main house 4 bdrms, plus 2 bdrm bungalow above garage for 5 nights. The pics of the property do not represent what you think. Yes in its heyday it may have been nice however its old and outdated. We could live with that however absolute needs like the refrigerator in the main house didn't work our entire trip. Had to live out of coolers for food and drinks.The water pressure did not allow washing dishes, showering or flushing the toilet without having to wait until one or the other was done. Maintenance came out and said thevpump needed to be replaced and they were constantly out doing temporary fixes, They were only able to do what was approved by the owner. Ken the manager wasn't available except through texting. He seemed annoyed or couldn't be bothered. He even had the nerve to say he couldnt understand why we had problems when previous tenants didn't. Hard to believe after convos with maintenance. Ok, now the outdoors,the pool was dirty and needed to be cleaned. We were told it wasn't really dirty but needed to be resurfaced. No,it was dirty and full of insects. The pool cleaners came out day 2. The location of the home for some reason had thousands of flying bugs. My family and I have rented homes on the river for the last 5 years during July and never experienced this. Its not cheap to rent here $1200 per night, plus insurance (for them), taxes $ cleaning fees. All costs are non refundable. Only concern is getting their money. Be careful not to trip over the rugs in main living area they curl up on the corners. Enjoy if you dare.

  Home is run-down, linens were limited and of poor quality (tears & stains), pool table pockets had holes (watch your toes), ice hockey table had no puck, pinball machine tilted every 2 minutes, fridge space was limited as ENTIRE door shelves were packed with current and EXPIRED condiments and dressings (their responsibility to clean out), pots and pans had to be cleaned prior to using, sump pump was being worked on when we arrived and THE TOPPER...the water pump went out on second day (before our group of 14 could even shower after our long day on the lake!) Cooking for 14 with NO water was rough. Couldn't be repaired until next morning!!! Maintenance crew were rude and follow ups by Ken were obsolete. He stated that I should've called him...each time??? That's not a vacation. I've never rented a house of this size from VRBO and been less than 100% satisfied, until now. Would not recommend.

We will double check the sheets and will order all new bedding if they are in fact torn and/or stained. Yes, the water did go out and we refunded you $500.00. I do suggest you rent consider renting 411 Riverfront Drive directly from our website: as this property is in pristine condition.

  We had the BEST time here at this house. A great weekend getaway for the river regatta. The beds were comfy, there was plenty of space for all of us, the house was clean, and the beach and the pool were AMAZING. Hughe was awesome to deal with checking in and out, super easy. He even sent a pool guy out for us after an unexpected monsoon dirtied it up for our last day there.

  We rented both the front and back house. Upon arrival we discovered that the water to the back house had been turned off. Turns out there were two pipes that were leaking under the sinks. Obviously someone was aware of the problem and didn’t get it fixed before our arrival. The manga company was wonderful and responded immediately. Stil,l it was an inconvenience to have a plumber in and out the entire next day fixing the problem.
